Vacation Policy

<aside> ❗ Public holidays that fall in your vacation are not counted towards vacation days. When requesting a vacation in BambooHR, it's your responsibility to mark any public holidays with a 0 and write the name of the holiday in the Note field. Read more on Public Holidays

<aside> ‼️ As of August 2024, we updated the carryover policy to better support your work-life balance and ensure you take the necessary rest throughout the year.

New Policy: Starting in 2025, you will be able to carry over up to 5 unused vacation days into the following year. This is a change from the previous policy, which allowed for the transfer of up to 24 unused vacation days.

Transition Period: Please note that the 2024-2025 transition is the last time you will be able to carry over up to 24 vacation days. Beginning January 2025, the new limit of 5 days will take effect.
