Toggl pays for parental leave days only to non-Estonian Togglers.
All Estonian employees are already covered by extensive possibilities offered by the government (info in Estonian here and here). However, Toggl will still pay Estonian employees for any unused vacation days they take in addition to their parental leave.
Maternity leave includes up to 2 months of paid leave + (if wanted) all unused vacation days. The total length of the paid leave can therefore be up to 3 months.
Paternity leave includes up to 2 weeks (10 working days) of paid leave within the first 6 months of childbirth.
The actual number of parental leave days paid by Toggl depends on parental benefits that you are eligible for in your country of residence, for example:
Of course, other combinations and circumstances are also possible, but we will handle these case by case.
Typical maternity leave time can vary from country to country. If it feels better to take more than 3 months off, we’d love to chat this over on a case-by-case basis and find a solution that works for the team and your family. Any time off on top of these 3 months will be unpaid.
We’ll be excited to welcome you back following your leave no matter how much time you spend away. Everything you need to do is notify Toggl 1 month in advance about returning to work.
