Job shadowing is a learning experience that allows you to learn, observe, and possibly participate in the job duties of another role. It’s an excellent way to gain insight into a specific field. It can be within your current department or a completely different department at Toggl.

Benefits of job shadowing

For the “shadow” (the person who wants to do the job shadowing):

• Learn from other Togglers and discover their roles and responsibilities
• “Try out” a different career path
• Deepen your knowledge within a field

For the individual who is being shadowed (the “host”):

• An opportunity to share your experiences with other Togglers
• Improve your own work and learn from the person shadowing you
